End User Licence Agreement
Effective October 12, 2026
The agreement Atelier's installer and Setup screen ask you to accept. It is part of the Terms of Service and adds what matters at install time: the third-party software and AI models setup downloads, and the rules that come with them.
ATELIER - END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
Version 2026-10-12
Cruxbit Labs LLC, Florida, USA - info@cruxbitlabs.com
Please read this before you install Atelier. By choosing "I Agree", by
ticking the box on Atelier's Setup screen, or by installing or using
Atelier, you agree to this agreement. If you don't agree, choose Cancel and
don't use Atelier.
1. THIS AGREEMENT AND THE ATELIER TERMS
This End User Licence Agreement ("EULA") is part of the Atelier Terms of
Service. Together with the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy and the
Cancellation and refunds policy, they are the whole agreement between you
and Cruxbit Labs LLC ("we", "us") about Atelier:
https://cruxbitlabs.com/atelier/terms
https://cruxbitlabs.com/atelier/privacy
https://cruxbitlabs.com/atelier/acceptable-use
https://cruxbitlabs.com/atelier/refunds
If this EULA and the Terms of Service disagree, the Terms of Service win,
except for sections 4 and 5 of this EULA, which add to them.
2. WHO CAN USE ATELIER
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract. If you use
Atelier for an organisation, you confirm you can accept this agreement for
it, and "you" includes that organisation.
3. YOUR LICENCE
Copyright (c) 2026 Cruxbit Labs LLC. All rights reserved. Atelier is
licensed to you, not sold. While your subscription is active and you follow
this agreement, you may install and use Atelier on computers you own or
control. Your subscription runs on one computer at a time, and up to 2
computers can be registered to it; you can remove one in the app.
You may not, and may not help anyone else to:
- copy, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or redistribute Atelier;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law
allows this despite this restriction;
- remove or get around its sign-in, subscription or computer checks, its
licence checks (for example, to run a model Atelier doesn't offer you),
or any notice in it;
- offer Atelier to others as a hosted service.
Some files in Atelier keep their own licences and are not covered by the
paragraph above: the Blender scripts in studio/refkit/blender are licensed
under the GNU GPL v3 or later, and the workflow graphs in studio/workflows
come from ComfyUI's templates (MIT, Copyright (c) 2023-present Comfy Org).
4. THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
Atelier's installer contains Atelier and the open-source libraries built into
it. The first time Atelier starts, its setup downloads other software from
its publishers and installs it on this computer: tools such as Git, uv,
Python, Node.js, 7-Zip, Blender, FFmpeg, ImageMagick, ExifTool, Tesseract,
Inkscape, potrace and pngquant; ComfyUI, the engine that runs the models;
and open-source Python packages. They are not made by Cruxbit Labs, run as
separate programs, and stay under their own licences (for example GPL-3.0,
Apache-2.0, MIT).
To install them without a separate prompt for each one, setup accepts their
package agreements for you (Windows Package Manager's
--accept-package-agreements, Scoop and Homebrew). Setup lists the programs
before it starts, and you agree to their licences by continuing. The full
list, with each licence, is in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md, which comes with
Atelier and is also in the app under Settings, Legal.
5. AI MODELS AND THEIR TERMS
Setup also downloads AI models from their publishers, such as Z-Image Turbo,
FLUX.2 [klein] 4B, Qwen-Image-2512, Qwen-Image-Edit-2511, HiDream-O1,
Ming-Image, Wan 2.2, SeedVR2, Pixal3D, TRELLIS.2, SAM 3.1, DINOv3,
Depth Anything 3 and Qwen3-VL. Atelier only offers models whose licences, as
we understand them, allow commercial use. Each stays under its own licence,
and by using Atelier you agree to follow them. In particular:
- Meta's SAM License (SAM 3.1, used for cutouts) and DINOv3 License (used
in the 3D tools): you may not use them, or what you make with them, for
any activity subject to the US International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR) or prohibited by trade controls, including military
or warfare purposes, nuclear industries or applications, espionage, or
developing or using guns or illegal weapons, and you confirm you are
not the target of trade controls. Atelier is Built with DINOv3.
- Several model publishers ask that their models not be used to break the
law, cause harm, spread misinformation, make sexual content involving
minors or non-consensual intimate images, impersonate real people, or
target vulnerable groups. These are in our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Some models require credit to their authors; Atelier gives it in
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md.
- Krea 2 (on Windows) comes under Krea's own licence and Acceptable Use
Policy, which you accept on the Setup screen (or in Settings, Models)
before Atelier uses it. It allows business use only while your
organisation's yearly revenue, counting companies under the same
ownership, is under US$1,000,000, unless you have an Enterprise licence
from Krea. Atelier checks every Krea 2 prompt and picture with a content
filter, as Krea's licence requires; you may not get around it. Krea may
end its licence on 30 days' notice, and Atelier then removes Krea 2.
If a model's licence changes, or its publisher withdraws it, we may change
or remove it from Atelier.
6. WHAT YOU MAKE
Between you and us, you own what you make with Atelier, as far as the law
allows, and we don't receive it: Atelier runs on your computer. Whether it
can be protected by copyright, and whether it infringes someone else's
rights, depends on the law where you are and on what you make. AI output can
be wrong, unexpected or similar to other people's work. You are responsible
for your inputs and outputs and how you use them.
7. OPTIONAL SERVICES
Connecting a Google Gemini API key or adding Claude Code (by Anthropic) is
optional. If you do, what you send goes to that company under its own terms
and privacy policy, and it bills you, not us. Google requires Gemini API
users to be 18 or older and, in the European Economic Area, the United
Kingdom and Switzerland, to use a paid (billed) API key in apps like
Atelier. Images from Google's models carry Google's SynthID watermark.
Claude Code is installed with Anthropic's own installer and you sign in
through Anthropic; Atelier never sees your Claude credentials.
8. PRIVACY
Atelier processes your images and prompts on your computer. Our servers
receive only what the account and subscription need, as described in the
Privacy Policy. Setup's downloads come from their publishers (such as
Hugging Face, GitHub, Google, Microsoft's Windows Package Manager and
Homebrew), which see your computer's IP address.
9. EXPORT AND SANCTIONS
You agree to follow US export control and sanctions laws. Atelier isn't
sold in, and may not be used in or for anyone in, Cuba, Iran, North Korea,
Syria, Russia, Belarus, or the regions of Ukraine under occupation, or by
anyone on a US government restricted-party list.
10. UPDATES AND ENDING
We may update Atelier, and some updates may be needed to keep using it.
Your licence ends when your subscription ends or if you seriously break this
agreement; you must then stop using Atelier. The software and models that
setup installed stay on your computer under their own licences, and you can
remove them.
11. NO WARRANTY, LIMITED LIABILITY
To the fullest extent the law allows, Atelier and the third-party software
and models it installs are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind,
and our liability is limited as set out in sections 12 and 13 of the Terms
of Service. The setup needs a lot of disk space and internet data. Back up
your work: it lives on your computer and we can't recover it.
12. LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the
United States, as set out in section 15 of the Terms of Service. If you're a
consumer, this doesn't take away any protection the law where you live
gives you.
13. TRADEMARKS
Product names such as FLUX, ComfyUI, Blender, Gemini, Claude, Qwen and Meta
are used only to say what Atelier works with. They belong to their owners,
who don't endorse Atelier.
